What does a limit tracks show?

Limit tracks show each plan limit as a track with what is used so far and where it will land by the end of the period. Limits about to be crossed stand out. Use it for plan usage, quotas and seats.

Chartory ships it as a Figma component and a React component with the same name. The code installs from the shadcn registry with one command and lands in your project as a file you own.

What is the Limit tracks component?

It is one <LimitTracks> component. Its props are the Figma properties with the same names and values, and the props table above lists them. The data is used, limit and forecast per item.

Sizes XS, S, M and L re-lay the chart out from the data instead of scaling it, so labels stay readable at every size.

When should I use it?

  • Does each item have a limit? Yes means the limit tracks fit.
  • Are there several limits? Yes means the limit tracks fit.
  • Is the forecast part of it? Yes means the limit tracks fit.

When does another type fit better?

  • Targets with ranges. Use Bullet instead.
  • One quota, one ring. Use Progress ring instead.
  • Spend against a budget over time. Use Budget runway instead.

Limit tracks questions

Installing, data, Figma and plans.

  • Yes. It installs through the shadcn registry with the shadcn CLI, and the file lands in your project.
