What does a split calendar show?
A split calendar draws a month as a calendar and splits each day into cash in and cash out, with the biggest days called out. Quiet days and heavy days show at once. Use it for cash flow, payouts and billing runs.
Chartory ships it as a Figma component and a React component with the same name. The code installs from the shadcn registry with one command and lands in your project as a file you own.
What is the Split calendar component?
It is one <SplitCalendar> component. Its props are the Figma properties with the same names and values, and the props table above lists them. The data is in and out per day.
Sizes XS, S, M and L re-lay the chart out from the data instead of scaling it, so labels stay readable at every size.
When should I use it?
- Are there two directions? Yes means the split calendar fits.
- Is a calendar view wanted? Yes means the split calendar fits.
- Is it days, not steps? Yes means the split calendar fits.
When does another type fit better?
- One value per day. Use Calendar heatmap instead.
- In and out per week. Use Diverging bars instead.
- A walk between two totals. Use Waterfall instead.
