What does a semi donut chart show?
A semi donut chart draws the split as a half ring with the total in the middle, so a headline number and its mix sit together in a short card. Use it for orders by channel, users by platform or any split with a total worth showing.
Chartory ships it as a Figma component and a React component with the same name. The code installs from the shadcn registry with one command and lands in your project as a file you own.
What is the Semi donut component?
It is one <SemiDonut> component. Its props are the Figma properties with the same names and values, and the props table above lists them. The data is a total and two to five parts.
Sizes XS, S, M and L re-lay the chart out from the data instead of scaling it, so labels stay readable at every size.
When should I use it?
- Is the total the headline? Yes means the semi donut fits.
- Is it one moment? Yes means the semi donut fits.
- Are the parts countable things? Yes means the semi donut fits.
When does another type fit better?
- Amounts per part matter more. Use Donut instead.
- The mix over time. Use Stacked bars instead.
- Counts drawn as icons. Use Isotype instead.
