Cash cycle ring: a React and Figma chart in four sizes

What does a cash cycle ring show?

A cash cycle ring shows the days cash sits in inventory and receivables, minus the days you take to pay suppliers, with the cycle in the middle. Use it for working capital reviews and finance dashboards.

Chartory ships it as a Figma component and a React component with the same name. The code installs from the shadcn registry with one command and lands in your project as a file you own.

What is the Cash cycle ring component?

It is one <CashCycleRing> component. Its props are the Figma properties with the same names and values, and the props table above lists them. The data is days of inventory, receivables and payables.

Sizes XS, S, M and L re-lay the chart out from the data instead of scaling it, so labels stay readable at every size.

When should I use it?

  • Is it a cycle of days? Yes means the cash cycle ring fits.
  • Is it one company? Yes means the cash cycle ring fits.
  • Are there three parts? Yes means the cash cycle ring fits.

When does another type fit better?

  • Amounts between two totals. Use Waterfall instead.
  • Trends over months. Use Line chart instead.
  • Many parts. Use Donut instead.

Cash cycle questions

Installing, data, Figma and plans.

  • Yes. It installs through the shadcn registry with the shadcn CLI, and the file lands in your project.
