What does a likert chart show?

A Likert chart shows survey answers per statement as one bar split into five answer levels, from strongly disagree to strongly agree, so the balance of opinion reads across many statements. Use it for customer surveys, NPS follow-ups and employee surveys.

Chartory ships it as a Figma component and a React component with the same name. The code installs from the shadcn registry with one command and lands in your project as a file you own.

What is the Likert component?

It is one <Likert> component. Its props are the Figma properties with the same names and values, and the props table above lists them. The data is five shares per statement, from strongly disagree to strongly agree.

Sizes XS, S, M and L re-lay the chart out from the data instead of scaling it, so labels stay readable at every size.

When should I use it?

  • Are answers on a scale? Yes means the likert fits.
  • Are there several statements? Yes means the likert fits.
  • Is the balance the point? Yes means the likert fits.

When does another type fit better?

  • Yes or no answers. Use Stacked bars instead.
  • One rating with stars. Use Star ratings instead.
  • Two shares per item. Use Dumbbell instead.

Likert questions

Installing, data, Figma and plans.

  • Yes. It installs through the shadcn registry with the shadcn CLI, and the file lands in your project.
