What does a ring grid chart show?
A ring grid gives each site or team its own small progress ring with the rate inside, laid out in a grid. The weak ones stand out without a ranking. Use it for dispatch rates, SLAs and completion across many locations.
Chartory ships it as a Figma component and a React component with the same name. The code installs from the shadcn registry with one command and lands in your project as a file you own.
What is the Ring grid component?
It is one <RingGrid> component. Its props are the Figma properties with the same names and values, and the props table above lists them. The data is a rate and a count per item.
Sizes XS, S, M and L re-lay the chart out from the data instead of scaling it, so labels stay readable at every size.
When should I use it?
- Is each value a rate? Yes means the ring grid fits.
- Are there many items? Yes means the ring grid fits.
- Is a grid better than a ranking? Yes means the ring grid fits.
When does another type fit better?
- Plain amounts. Use Horizontal bars instead.
- One rate, one ring. Use Progress ring instead.
- A ranked list. Use Horizontal bars instead.
