Marey schedule

Vehicles moving through stops, against the plan.

Definition · Updated Nov 2, 2026

A Marey schedule puts stops down the side and time across, and draws each vehicle as a line moving through them. Steep lines are fast, flat lines are waiting, and a late vehicle drifts from its plan. Use it for delivery vans, trains and buses.

Something else?

  • A flat stretch means the van is standing still. A late van's line sits to the right of the plan, and its label says so (VAN 19 · LATE).
