# Props

> Props are named like the Figma variants, so a chart reads the same on both sides. Every chart takes a size and its data; most also take a legend.

| Prop | Values | In Figma |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `size` | `xs`, `s`, `m`, `l` | size = XS · S · M · L |
| `legend` | `true`, `false` | legend = on · off |
| `data` | Rows for the type | The sample data in the file |

## Types without a legend

31 types label their marks directly, so they have **no legend prop** and only legend = off in Figma.

## Example

usage.tsx:

```tsx
<Waterfall
  size="m"
  legend
  data={rows}
/>
```

**Note: One name everywhere.** chart/042-waterfall-cash-bridge in Figma, <Waterfall> in code, /charts/waterfall on the site.

## Figma = props

| Figma variant | Prop |
| --- | --- |
| `size=XS` | `size="xs"` |
| `size=S` | `size="s"` |
| `size=M` | `size="m"` |
| `size=L` | `size="l"` |
| `legend=on` | `legend` |
| `legend=off` | `legend={false}` |
